Waiver request for 18- 4.12.16c — Minimum Parking Aisle Width: The minimum two -way traffic
aisle width requirement of 20 feet may be reduced in the northwest parking area. It appears that a
12 -foot width could be achievable in the rear travelway, with 16 -foot in the front.
(Rev. 2) Comment has been addressed.
9. Waiver request for 18- 4.12.16e — Bumper Blocks: Sidewalks abutting parking at the northeast
building must be 6' wide, or bumper blocks must be provided. However, request for the bumper
blocks in the parking area of the south side depend on whether guardrails are used.
(Rev. 2) Comment has been addressed.
10. Waiver request for 18- 4.12.17c — Vehicular Access Aisles- One -way Traffic: The request for a
reduction in one -way access aisle width has not been granted. The access aisles in question are
lined with both parallel and handi -cap parking as well as a drop -off area. Reducing the required
width presents safety concerns. The applicant will not incur undue hardship by adding an extra
two feet to the access aisles which will be newly constructed.
