1. Please provide date of topography. [ 18- 32.6.6, 14 -302, Policy for date]
(Rev.]) Comment has been addressed.
2. Please state the location of the benchmark on the coversheet.
(Rev.]) Comment has been addressed.
3. Please provide all existing easements (access, drainage, sight, sanitary easements, etc.) with deed
book references, locations, and dimensions. [18- 32.6.6, 14 -302]
(Rev.]) Comment has been addressed.
4. Please provide a legend showing all symbols and abbreviations used on the plans.
(Rev.]) Comment has been addressed.
5. Please provide a VDOT designation (PE -1, CG -9a, etc) to all entrances.
(Rev.]) Comment has been addressed.
6. Please provide proposed topography on the entrance of the west side of the lot. The entrance
cannot exceed 4% grade for a distance of 40' from the intersected street, measured anywhere in the
entrance. [18- 4.12.17]
(Rev.]) Comment has not been addressed. Parts of the plan appear to have both 1' and 2'
contours. Please clarify and make contour numbers more legible.
(Rev.2) Comment has been addressed.
7. Please provide sight distance lines at the entrances, less than 10 x speed limit intersected streets,
measured from a point 10' off the edge of pavement of the intersected street.
(Rev.]) Comment has been addressed.
8. VDOT approval must be maintained for any plan affecting right -of -way.
(Rev.]) Comment has not been addressed.

11. Sidewalks abutting parking must be 6' wide, or bumper blocks must be provided. Please refer to
the Design Standards Manual.
(Rev.]) Comment has been addressed.
12. Please provide arrows indicating direction of flow for all existing and proposed storm sewers.
(Rev.]) Comment has been addressed.
13. Please provide throat length for each drop inlet.
(Rev.]) Comment has not been addressed. The throat length for Structure #3 seems to be out of
scale. It seems that a 14' throat length would overlap with the filterra facility and the light post.
Please revise.
(Rev.2) Comment has been addressed.
14. Please clarify if STR -6 is a manhole or an inlet.
(Rev.]) Comment has been addressed.
15. Please provide an end section for the outlet to the stormwater detention facility.
(Rev.]) Comment has been addressed.
16. Temporary easements for grading and constructing the shared access must be granted from the
owner of TMP 56 -67. Please submit signed easement documents.
B. Stormwater Management Plan (WPO200900016)
17. Please submit Stormwater Management plans with details and calculations. Please refer to the
Virginia Stormwater Management Handbook.
(Rev.]) Comment has been addressed.
18. The storm sewer pipes from Structure #3 through Structure #1 do not match with those of the
storm sewer profile.
(Rev.2) Comment has been addressed.
19. Please provide proposed pipe and inlet drainage map showing watershed limits, acreage,
hydrologic coefficient, time of concentration, and destination structure for each drainage area.
(Rev.2) Comment has been addressed.
20. Please provide general stormwater notes. Please refer to the Design Standards Manual.
(Rev.2) Comment has been addressed.
21. Please provide a larger scale of the post - development drainage area.
(Rev.2) Comment has been addressed.
22. Easements and agreements for grading, access to and use of the stormwater detention pond must
be granted from the owner of TMP 56A3 -7. Please submit signed easement agreement documents.
23. It appears that the emergency spillway of the existing pond will discharge flow during the 2 -year
and 10 -year critical storms. The emergency spillway invert elevation of 650.25 is not high enough
to contain these storms. The Virginia Stormwater Management Handbook recommends that a
distance of 0.1 feet, minimum, is maintained between the 10 -year high water mark and the invert
of the emergency spillway. Raising the invert of the emergency spillway to 650.75 will be
adequate to contain these flows and still meet the minimum requirement for free board.
C. Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (WPO200900016)
24. Please submit Erosion and Sediment Control plans with details. Please refer to the Virginia
Erosion and Sediment Control Handbook.
(Rev.]) Comment has been addressed.
25. Please provide erosion and sediment control notes. Please refer to the Design Standards Manual.
(Rev.2) Comment has been addressed.
