Jos - As a follow up to our phone conversation yesterday, I am sending this email outlining the
remaining issues as discussed.
Building:
• Revise the elevation drawings to indicate their location, ex. North Elevation.
• Provide a sample of the proposed brick and mortar and revise the elevation drawings to indicate
the manufacturer and product ID for the mortar.
• For building signage visible from the Rio Road East Corridor, provide revised elevations showing
the sign location along with details, including materials, colors and dimensions of the sign design.
If none proposed, provide revise elevations with a note indicating such.
• Revise the site plan to show the location of the proposed pool house.
Site/Landscape:
Provide a revised Landscape Plan showing:
A complete Landscape Planting Schedule including plant quantities, species (both common &
botanical name), and minimum planting size (24" height for shrubs, 2.5" caliper for trees).
The same site design (layout) as the site plan drawing.
A Willow Oak tree, 2 -1/2" cal. minimum at planting, in the following locations:
• In the existing planting island at the south end of the parking spaces facing the front (east)
building elevation
• Behind the sidewalk east of the front (east) building elevation, half way between the
planting island at the south end and the proposed planting island adjacent to the handicap
space
• In the proposed planting island adjacent to the handicap space
• Behind the sidewalk east of the front (east) building elevation, half way between the
proposed planting island and the planting island at the north end
The following note: All site plantings of trees and shrubs shall be allowed to reach, and be
maintained at, mature height, the topping of trees is prohibited. Shrubs and trees shall be pruned
minimally and only to support the overall health of the plant.
Written comments can sometimes be confusing, so please do not hesitate to call should you have any
questions.
