Josh - I have completed my initial review of the above -noted proposal. The following issues would need to
be addressed before I could grant administrative approval.
Comprehensive sign criteria were established for this building when it was approved by the ARB. Those
criteria, outlining the conditions required for approval, are attached to this email.
Concerning the Canopy and Freestanding Tenant Panel Signs:
1. Revise the text color to white.
2. Revise the sign background color to bronze.
3. Revise the sign drawing to include a note indicating all proposed colors including the PMS equivalent
numbers for the green colors in the logo.
4. Revise the sign drawing to indicate the overall height and length of the text.
5. Revise the sign drawing to state that the existing internal illumination is to be used and note the type
of bulb, e.g. fluorescent, LED etc.
6. If LED to be used, revise the sign drawing to include the note: The level of illumination provided by
the LED lights will not exceed the illumination produced by a single stroke of 30 milliamp (ma) neon.
7. Revise the sign drawing to include the note: The sign shall have a non - illuminated background, or an
opaque (zero light transmission) background; only the text is to illuminate.
The application may be approved administratively if the above issues are addressed adequately. If you have
questions concerning any of the above, please contact me.
