Subject: SUB200900143 Terrell Family Division
The Planner for the Zoning & Current Development Division of the Albemarle County
.Department Community Development will approve the plat referred to above when the following
items have been satisfactorily addressed. (The following comments are those that have been
identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions may be added or eliminated based on
further review.) [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference to the Albemarle County
Code.]
1. [14- 302(13)(9)] Flood Plain. Provide flood plain information, as required by this section.
2. [14-211; 14- 212(A)] Verification of Family Division. Provide a copy of an affidavit,
deed, or letter from attorney stating: grantee, grantor and their relationship; and certifying
that this is a Family Division in accordance with Section 14-208 and related provisions of
the Albemarle County Code.
3. [14 -309; 14 -310; 14 -416] Soil evaluations. Health director approval of individual private
wells and /or septic systems. Individual private wells and septic systems. Provide the
results of percolation tests or other methods of soil evaluation used to determine the
suitability of the. soil for septic systems with conventional drain fields, so that the agent
can then forward them onto the health department for review and approval.
4. [14 -312] Location of existing buildings. County GIS indicates the "existing building" is
on Parcel 27. County GIS is not always correct and your plat indicates a field survey was
performed. However, there is a discrepancy, so please confirm the plat is correct, or make
any adjustments as necessary. Also, while not required for approval, please provide.
dimension of existing dwelling to side property line.
