Re: SUB2009000148 Briarwood- Easement, Open Space
The Zoning and Current Development Division of the Albemarle County Department of Community
Development will approve the proposed plat referred to above when the following items have been satisfactorily
addressed. (The following comments are those that have been identified at this time. Additional comments or
conditions may be added or eliminated bases upon further review.) Additional comments by be forthcoming by
other departments and outside agencies. Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference to the Albemarle
County Code.
1. [Sec. 14 -303H] Provide monuments as required. At least two known monuments indicating property
corners (not the easements) must be provided on the plat.
2. [Sec. 14- 302A5] A Deed for the new drainage easement to be dedicated to public use is required to be
signed prior to final plat approval. If you need a copy of the template for "drainage easement not
built," please let me know and I will provide you with a link to that template.
3. ACSA approval is required. Additional comments may be forthcoming.
4. Engineering approval is required. Additional comments may be forthcoming.
