Rita - At the October 5, 2009 Architectural Review Board meeting, the above -noted proposal was
presented to the Board as an Other Business item with a request for direction. The Board provided
the consensus below. If you can address these issues as requested in the consensus below; therefore,
eliminating the need for a full review at the scheduled November 2, 2009 meeting, please reply to this
email by October 14, 2009 indicating so. Otherwise, the proposal is currently scheduled for a full review
by the ARB at the November 2, 2009 meeting.
ARB- 09 -85: Wilco /Dunkin Donuts Sign: Colors
Mr. Lebo recused himself from the discussion.
Regarding the colors proposed for the Wilco /Dunkin Donuts sign, it was the consensus of the ARB that the sign
colors don't meet the guidelines, and any application submitted for review should be limited to the colors already
included in the existing signage. Also, the design of the sign on the existing building should be integrated with the
existing composition of lettering, colors and graphics. The ARB clarified that staff could review /approve signs
meeting these criteria.

Rita - as discussed on the phone today, I am not able to approve this proposal administratively due to the
proposed sign colors. I have scheduled this proposal for review at the November 2, 2009 Architectural
Review Board meeting. It will be necessary for someone to be present to speak for the application. I am
attaching the meeting notification letter that was sent to you today.
