Subject: SUB - 2009 -152- Sieg- Final Subdivision
The Planner for the Zoning & Current Development Division of the Albemarle County
Department Community Development will recommend approve the plan referred to above when
the following items have been satisfactorily addressed. (The following comments are those that
have been identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions may be added or eliminated
based on further review.) [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference to the
Albemarle County Code.]
1. [14 -302 (A)(12)] Topography. Provide the existing topography per this section on the
plat. Also, show where there are slopes of 25% or greater.
2. [14 -304] Request for critical slopes waiver. It appears that the proposed road(s) impact
critical slopes on the site. Request a waiver for the disturbance of these slopes in
accordance with Section 4.2.5 of the zoning ordinance.
3. [14 -306; 14 -303 (N); 14 -317] Private streets information. There are private street notes
on Sheet 1 of the plat. Either remove these notes or apply for a private street request, and
submit a private street maintenance agreement.
4. [14 -312] Location of existing buildings. Show all existing buildings that are within fifty
(50) feet of a proposed lot line or a proposed street.
5. [ 14 -316] Approval of entrance on public streets. VDOT approval of the entrance is
required.
6. [ 14 -410] Standards for all streets and alleys. A waiver request for curb and gutter was
received and will be reviewed and considered by the planning commission.
