Jonathan,
I have had the opportunity to review this with other staff and unfortunately, the fixture proposed does not
meet the County's criteria for approval. The fixture, while described as "Dark sky freindly ", is not full- cutoff
and we require all fixtures to be full cut -off.
In an effort to save you time and resources, you may submit an alternative lighting plan and fixture
schedule (cut sheets should be on the plan) via email and I will review it for compliance. (Of course, if you
can attach the cut sheets separately so that I may print them at a scale that is readable, that would be
good.)
If it meets our requirements, then I will let you know to incorporate those changes into your site plan and
to submit 5 copies of the full set for signature.
Thank you,
Elizabeth

Sorry that the cut sheet was hard to read, please see attached *.pdf of manufacturer's cut sheet for your
review and comment. In order to meet the County's requirement for full full cutoff , we specified this
particular fixture with clear lens so as to be dark sky compliant.
Hope this helps, please let me know if you have any questions or need more information.
Thanks,

Jonathan,
I took a glance at the pdf's you emailed me and I can say I am going to need more information on the
fixture proposed. The 11 x1 Ts print out too small for me to tell if they are full cutoff. Because they are over
3,000 lumen, they must be full cutoff. If they are in fact full cutoff (most fixtures of this style are not),
please submit to me something big enough that I can read it (from the manufacturer) and review it. If they
are not full cutoff, then please revise the plans.
Thank you,
Elizabeth
