I have reviewed the above referenced site plan and have no comments. A Land Use Permit will be required for any
proposed work within the existing Route 810 ROW. The permit can be applied for at the Charlottesville VDOT Residency
Office.

Subject: SDP2009 -79 Patricia Ann Byrom Forest Preserve Park — Final
The Final plan for Byrom Park has received Engineering review. The Water protection application
has not been submitted and comments will be forthcoming once the E &SC, SWM and Mitigation
application is received. The site plan portion cannot be approved until the following items are
adequately addressed:
A. Site plan (SDP200900079)
1. Date of Topographic information needs to be shown and up to date. [18- 32.6.6,
14 -302, Policy for Date] All topography will be at least visually field verified by
the designer within the last year and stated on the plan sheet.
2. Water Protection application and plans required. WPO Plan submittal will
include Erosion and Sediment Control, Stormwater Protection, and Mitigation
plans.
B. Road and drainage plans (SDP200900079)
1. VDOT approval is required. Comments will be forwarded when received. [DM905]
2. The State Water Protection requires fore -bays on all stormwater detention /control
structures. [VSMH] Please add to plan.
3. Please show sign locations per 18- 32.6.6, 14 -304, and VDOT street requirements.

The Planner for the Current Development Division of the Albemarle County Department Community
Development will recommend approve the plan referred to above when the following items have been
satisfactorily addressed. (The following comments are those that have been identified at this time.
Additional comments or conditions may be added or eliminated based on further review.) [Each
comment is preceded by the applicable reference to the Albemarle County Code.]
1. [Sec. 18- 32.5.6(a)] Please include one datum reference for elevation.
2. [Sec. 18- 32.5.6(a)] Total sheet numbers must accurately reflect number of sheets in submitted
plan set.
3. [Sec. 18- 32.5.6(a)] Information regarding owner, zoning, tax map and parcel number, and
present use of all adjacent parcels (including those on opposite side of SR 810) must be
included on plan.
4. [Sec. 18- 32.5.6(a)] Accurate boundary dimensions for entire project parcels must be shown on
plan.
5. [Sec. 18- 32.5.6(b)] Please provide maximum height and square footage information for all
proposed structures.
6. [Sec. 18- 32.5.6(b)] A parking schedule including maximum amount required and amount
provided must be included on plan.
7. [Sec. 18- 32.5.6(f)] Please indicate if site is located within a reservoir watershed.
8. [Sec. 18- 32.5.6(m)] The distance to the centerline of the nearest existing street intersection
from the proposed entrance must be shown on plan.
9. [Sec. 18- 32.5.6(n)] Location and dimensions of all proposed improvements including trash
containers and outdoor lighting must be shown on plan. If these improvements are to be
included in project, please provide necessary information.
10. [Sec. 18- 32.6.6(i)] If any landscape improvements are to included in project, please provide a
landscape plan conforming with Sec. 18- 32.7.9.
11. [Sec. 18- 32.6.6(j)] If outdoor lighting exceeding 3,000 lumens is proposed, a lighting plan must
be submitted.
