Revise the landscape drawings to show medium size shade trees, 2 1 /2" caliper min, 40' on center, along the full length of the eastern boundary line. Provide the manufacturer's name and product ID for the retaining wall materials on the landscape plan. Issue: Sheets 7A & 7B Landscaping Plan show 15 Weeping Willow trees in a continuous line along the eastern boundary. The Weeping Willow is a relatively short lived and weak wooded tree that is inappropriate adjacent to a parking area. The use of a continuous line of the same species results in a wall -like appearance that is contrary to the Board's expressed desire for a naturalistic landscape design. Replacing the Weeping Willow species with a species such as Willow Oak or White Oak, interspersed with the other species shown along the eastern boundary, would be more appropriate. Alternating (interspersing) the species for the full length of the eastern boundary is essential in creating a naturalistic appearance. The number of trees of the same species, shown adjacent to each other, should be limited to a maximum of three. Sheet 8 "Landscaping Notes and Details", containing the retaining wall detail with product ID, was not included with this submission. Recommendation: Revise Sheets 7A & 7B Landscaping Plan by replacing the Weeping Willow species with a Willow Oak or White Oak species, 21 /z" caliper minimum, 40' on center. Revise the layout of trees species along the eastern boundary by alternating (interspersing) species so that the number of trees of the same species, shown adjacent to each other, is limited to a maximum of three. 2. Revise the lighting proposal to include all exterior building lighting. All such lighting with 3,000 lumens or more shall meet full cut off requirements. Revise Sheets 6 and 6 A Site Plan and Sheets 7, 7A and 7B Landscaping Plan by correcting site lighting /tree conflicts in the following locations: • The proposed Green Ash (FP) at the west end of Building 5. • The proposed Allee Elm (UP) at the northeast corner of Building 4. • The proposed Crape Myrtles (LI) at the east and west ends of the parking lot adjoining the southeast side of Building 1. Issue: The Luminaire Schedule, shown on Sheet 9, does not contain the proposed building fixtures A, B, C and D. All lighting, 3,000 lumens or greater, must be in a full cutoff style fixture. Recommendation: Revise Sheet 9 Luminaire Schedule to include the proposed building fixtures A, B, C and D. Provide full cutoff style fixtures for all lighting emitting 3,000 lumens or greater. 3. Revise the landscape proposal around the pond to have a variety of native trees and ground cover planted in a naturalistic pattern using plant material from the County's approved list. Issue: This issue was not addressed in this latest submission Recommendation: Revise the landscape proposal around the pond to have a variety of native trees and ground cover planted in a naturalistic pattern using plant material from the County's approved list.
