Re: SUB2010 -48 Sheridan Final Plat
The Zoning and Current Development Division of the Albemarle County Department of Community
Development will approve the proposed plat referred to above when the following items have been satisfactorily
addressed. (The following comments are those that have been identified at this time. Additional comments or
conditions may be added or eliminated bases upon further review.) Each comment is preceded by the applicable
reference to the Albemarle County Code.
1. [ 14- 302A.2] While not required for approval, please consider adding a north arrow to the vicinity
map.
2. [14- 302B.9] Please show required building site for Lot 2A. This may be done on a supplemental
exhibit.
3. [14- 302A.1I] Instrument is required prior to final plat approval.
4. [14- 302B.1] Date of plat is required prior to final plat approval.
5. [14- 302B.6] Tax map and parcel number (of parent parcel) is required prior to final plat approval.
6. [14 -303R] Please provide Note K verbatim, per this section.
7. [14 -310] Health Department approval is required. Soils work was sent to the health department on
4/28/10.
8. [14 -312] County GIS shows buildings in the vicinity of the proposed 40' private access easement.
Please confirm there are no existing buildings per this section, or, show them with dimensions to the
property line, or, if applicable, indicate "to be removed."
9. [14 -317] Provide private street maintenance agreement, in accordance with this section. A template is
available, please let me know if you need it.
10. [ 14 -412] Please provide supplemental information to confirm the proposed private street conforms to
this section. Road centerlines, profiles, and topography may be submitted to show road elevation
conformance; a note on the plat will suffice for the clear zone requirements.
