Subject: Site Review Meeting Comments July 8h, 2010 site review meeting
Dear Mr. Brooks:
Below are VDOT's comments on the Site Plans for the July 8"', 2010 Site Review Committee Meeting:
SDP - 2010 -00046 Kingdom Hall of the Jehova's Witness -Major (Elizabeth Marotta)
1. Some VDOT comments from 10 -19 -2009 still need to be addressed on this plan and are:
0 CG -7 needs to be used along the widening around the radii of the entrance.
The VDOT standard WP -2 needs to be used for the pavement widening and should
replace the drawing for widening on sheet C -9 labeled "Pavement Joint Detail ".
Existing UD-4 on route 631 along the widening will need to be replaced along the
new e.p.
2. A Land Use Permit will be required for any work within the road ROW prior to construction.
SUB- 2010 -00069 Old Trail Block 19 -Final (Megan Yaniglos)
1. The existing access easement on route 250 will be in conflict with the VDOT Access
Management Standards. Access for block 19 should be as indicated on the Old Trail Rezoning
Plan.
SUB- 2010 -00070 Old Trail Block 32 -Final (Megan Yaniglos)
1. No Comments.
SUB- 2010 -00071 Old Trail Blocks 24, 33, and 34 Final (Megan Yaniglos)
1. It looks like the future road connection to these blocks goes through the residual parcel. The
access road easement or right of way should be shown on the plat for access to Old Trail Dr.
SUB- 2010 -00072 Old Trail Blocks 10, 16,17,18,30,31 Final (Megan Yaniglos)
1. The access easement from existing Golf Drive back to this proposed subdivided parcel needs
to be shown the same way it is shown for Upland Dr.
SUB -Old Trail Block 25 Final (Megan Yaniglos)
1. There is supposed to be a road right of way through block 25 and across the "Private
Recreational Easement" for blocks 24, 33, and 34.

SUB- 2010 -00074 Old Trail Block 13A Final (Megan Yaniglos)
1. Sight distance easements may be needed along parcels 4, 5, 6 and 23 for the connection of
Penny Well Lane to Claremont Lane.
Please request the applicants provide a written description of revisions with re- submissions. If you
have any questions or comments, please contact me prior to sharing these comments with the
applicants.
