The Zoning and Current Development Division of the Albemarle County Department of Community
Development will approve the proposed plat referred to above when the following items have been satisfactorily
addressed. (The following comments are those that have been identified at this time. Additional comments or
conditions may be added or eliminated bases upon further review.) Each comment is preceded by the applicable
reference to the Albemarle County Code.
L [14- 302.A.2] Vicinity map must be at a scale of 1:2000.
2. [14- 302.A.3] Indicate on the plat that Whispering Pines is a private street.
3. [14- 302.A.9] Provide building site note as required by this section.
4. [14- 302.A.10] Provide development rights information on the plat and include required note, per this
section. This note is required, regardless if any development rights are being conveyed with the
BLA.
5. [14- 302.B.7] Provide notes as required by this section. (FYI -This property is not in an ag/for district,
but is in a water supply protection area- Lower Mechums River.)
6. [14- 302.B.9] Provide FIRM panel reference /date.
7. [14-302.B.101 Show stream and buffers, and provide stream buffers note as required by this section.
8. [14- 303.A] Provide note in entirety, as required by this section.
9. [14- 303.0] Please add a box for Agent for Board of Supervisors and remove Board of Supervisors
and Planning Commission boxes.
10. [14- 309,310] Because this application was suspended due to an unapprovable plat, the health
department did not process the previous submittal of soils work and a new submittal is required.
Submit 3 copies of soils work to this office. Be sure that the proposed plat enclosed with each soils
work report is the same as the one submitted to me.
11. [ 14 -312] Show all buildings within 50' of a proposed property line. County GIS indicates there may
be a building that must be shown on the plat.
