SUB - 2010 -081- Old Trail Block 4- Final Plat
The Planner for the Zoning & Current Development Division of the Albemarle County
Department Community Development will recommend approve the plan referred to above when
the following items have been satisfactorily addressed. (The following comments are those that
have been identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions may be added or eliminated
based on further review.) [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference to the
Albemarle County Code.]
1. [ 14 -303 (G)] Ownership of common areas. Provide HOA covenants to confirm that the
open space being provided will be maintained by an entity other than the County and the
details of that maintenance.
Revl: Comment addressed.
2. [Code of Development] The green mall must be at least 40 feet in width. Show the
dimensions and provide information that meets this requirement.
Revl: Comment addressed. Green mall shown is the same width that is shown on
approved site plan.
3. [14 -404] Lot location. This plat cannot be approved until SUB2010 -074 is approved, as
that plat shows and dedicates Claremont Lane which provides the sole access into the
block.
Revl: SUB2010 -074 was approved on 10/8/2010. Please provide the correct deed
book and page number on that plat.
4. [ 14 -422] Sidewalks and planting strips. Are the sidewalks and planting strips a part of the
road plans? If so, please submit a copy of the sheet in the road plans for planning staff to
review in order to verify that sidewalks and planting strips will be provided.
