A. Final site plan (SDP201000083)
1. Please provide a copy of the approved permit for the wetland disturbance.
2. It appears that some sheets in the set of plans have an incorrect scale. Please revise.
3. Please provide the elevations for the illustrated benchmarks on sheet C2.0.
4. Please provide the maximum height to all retaining walls.
5. Safety railings must be shown for retaining wall over 4' high.
6. Guardrail with VDOT designations must be shown for retaining walls next to parking or
travelways. [ 18- 32.7.2]
7. A construction easement will be required for the work being done on the north side of the
property. All required easements must be recorded prior to final site plan approval.
8. Please provide an entrance profile showing adequate landing. Entrance must not exceed 4% grade
for a distance of 40' from the intersected street, measured anywhere in the entrance. [18- 4.12.17]
9. Please provide site distance triangles. This is to be measured from a point in an intersection 10' off
of the edge of pavement of the intersected travelway, to a point on the travelway centerline.
10. VDOT approval must be obtained prior to final site plan approval.
11. Please label all parking and travelways dimensions on the plans.
12. It appears that the pathway along the south side of the property is being removed. Please show it
on the demolition plan.
13. Please provide a loading space or submit a request for modification to the provision of
[18- 4.12.13f.]
14. Please extend the dumpster pad a minimum of 8' beyond the front of the dumpster. [18- 4.12.19]
15. Dumpster pad detail or specification must be a minimum 4" stone base and 6" concrete of 3000 psi
at 28 days, or stronger, reinforced with a minimum grid of wire reinforcing or #4 bars at 12 "on
center.
16. Sidewalks abutting parking must be 6' wide (exclusive curb), or bumper blocks must be provided.
17. It appears that the sidewalk in the center island of the parking lot. Sidewalks must be a minimum
of 5', exclusive of curb.
18. Please provide all proposed and existing storm sewer pipes with arrows indicating direction of
flow.
19. Details must be provided for any pipe or drainage structure through or under walls.
20. Please show all sanitary sewer crossings on STR #205 on sheet C7.0.
21. Safety Slabs (SL -1) must be provided for STR #114 and STR #206.
22. Drain inlet lengths on STR #114 and STR #206 on the Storm Structure Table do not match with the
Stormwater Inlet Computation.

B. Stormwater Management plan (WP0201000071)
1. Please provide a completed copy of the standard stormwater maintenance agreement and fee for
recordation for any stormwater management facilities. [17 -304E]
2. In order to capture the most out of the proposed travelway, please provide an addition curb inlet on
the east side of the proposed stub -out.
3. Please provide detailed calculations for the MS -19 analysis on channel adequacy. Please refer to
the Virginia Erosion and Sediment Control Handbook for proper guidelines.
4. Please provide a detailed drainage area map showing the 1S and 2S drainage areas.
5. Please provide calculations illustrating Time of Concentration and how the C- Values were
obtained.
C. Erosion & Sediment Control plan (WP0201000071)
1. The construction entrance must drain to a sediment trap.
2. Please provide Temporary Seeding (TS) and Permanent Seeding (PS) in Phase I.
3. Please provide inlet protections to all proposed and existing inlets in Phase I.
4. Please provide a stockpile location.
5. Please provide a staging and parking area.
6. Please provide outlet protection for STR #100 for Phases I and U.
7. Sediment Trap #1 shows a dimension of 22'X72' in the Sediment Trap Summary and 22'X74' on
the plans. Please revise.
8. The sequence does not include the installation of Sediment Trap #1. Please revise
9. It appears that the perimeter controls for this site are being utilized inefficiently. Engineering
recommends that a meeting be held to reach a more structured solution to the E &S design of this
site.
Once these comments have been addressed, please submit two (2) copies of the revised plans, calculations,
and narratives to Current Development Engineering.
