If window signs are proposed, a separate application must be made, reviewed and approved by the Architectural Review Board. ❑ "Opaque" means that light will not pass through the material. Consequently, the color of the background portion of the face of the sign will not be visible when the sign is internally illuminated at night. If you have any question about this requirement for an opaque background, do not proceed with the construction or installation of the sign until you have spoken with County staff. ❑ Exposed neon is not approved. ❑ The level of illumination produced by the LED lights shall not exceed the level of illumination produced by a single stroke of 30 milliamp neon.
