The submittal was incomplete. The following items were missing from your drawings /submittal: 1. Identification of the sign materials. 2. Identification of the sign colors, and provision of standard color id numbers. 3. Provision of physical color samples (for the shade of red). 4. The $75 Entrance Corridor review fee. We cannot proceed with review until this missing information is submitted. It would also be useful to have the following information for review. Would you please add this information to the drawing? 5. Proposed letter height 6. Height of the existing "The New Deli" letters for comparison 7. The width of the black outlines of the proposed letters Our initial review has revealed the following issues of concern: 8. The shade of red may be too bold. 9. The letters look over - scaled for the sign. A reduction in the letter size is recommended. Please re- submit your sign drawings, addressing the information outlined above. (You may email the revised drawings to me at mmaliszewski @albemarle.org or send the copies by U.S. mail.) It would be most efficient to address all of the issues in your resubmittal. However, you are only required to address 1 -4 at this time to deal with the "incomplete application" issue. If revised drawings with the missing items are received within 15 days of the date of this letter, we will proceed with review, and the submittal date will be adjusted according to the date of your resubmittal. If the missing items are not received within 15 days of the date of this letter, the application will be denied and a new fee will be required to submit a new application. Again, it would be most efficient to address all of the items outlined above in a single revision. When the submittal is received, we will proceed with review. If you have any questions about this process or with the recommended revisions, feel free to contact me by email or by phone at x3276.
