Below are the comments as given previously, and as updated for currently submitted information; Comment of 11 Oct 2010; Please provide a plan showing the proposed improvements, especially in relation to stream buffers, slopes, road, and parking. It is recommended that the internal road meet the standards for private roads contained in the subdivision ordinance. Revision 1: Comments of 6 Dec 2010; It is recommended that the internal road meet the standards for private roads contained in the subdivision ordinance. There is the possibility that Board approval of a central water or sewer system may be required, depending upon the changes that have been requested by the Health Department. Revision 2: Comments of 20 Jan 2011; Based on the "Existing Bath House Septic Schematic with 6 new cabins added ", the sewer system meets the definition of a central system as given in County Code Section 16 -101. To extend the system, the applicant needs to apply to the Clerk of the Board according to section 16 -102. The applicant will need to provide a letter and preliminary plans. From the schematic supplied, I could determine the need for Board approval, but I could not place the layout of the system on the graphic below. From the schematic, I have roughly tried to place the drainfield locations in green. Somewhere on this map, there should also be an existing bath house septic tank, pump, splitter box, existing septic tank for the shower house, proposed new septic tank, reserve drainfield, and distribution laterals connecting all these items, the RV lots, the existing cabins, and the proposed cabins. In addition, there should be well, or wells, and any pumps, tanks and lines associated with that, including any for the pool. I have roughly drawn in paved and gravel areas, existing cabins, and new cabin locations in red, but please have the applicant correct these if necessary.
