Subject: Engineering Approval of ESC Plan for Belvedere Block 4A (WPO- 2011 - 00022)
Nathan,
I have reviewed the ESC plan for Belvedere Block 4A (WPO- 2011 - 00022), received 1 April 2011. The plan is approvable
with the condition that the following minor modifications are included in the four ESC sets (only sheets 1 and 4 are
needed) submitted to me that I must pass along to the county ESC inspector:
-The county's general construction notes (22) for ESC plans is included in the set. The latest set of notes can be found in
the design manual, available online.
-Two Dust Control (DC) symbols are added to Sheet 4.
-A Construction Entrance (CE) symbol is added in the area of existing alley with a note stating that the existing paved
alley is to be used as a construction entrance and staging area.
-Silt fence is added on the building sides of the sidewalk along Colbert and Butler Streets up to the sidewalk along
Belvedere Blvd.
Please let me know if you have any questions on these minor changes. No additional review fee will be required.
In order to receive a grading permit for this work, the four copies of the ESC plan must be submitted to me, the site plan
must be signed by the county planner, and an ESC bond must be posted. To receive an ESC bond estimate, please
provide a Bond Estimate Request Form to the County Engineer.
Thanks,
Phil
