It is anticipated that there will be seventeen (17) full -time employees involved in the vineyard and winery operations and two (2) full -time and three (3) part -time employees involved in the farm shop operation. The hours of operation of the vineyard and winery operations will vary according to seasonal demands. The hours of operation of the farm shop are anticipated to be 10 a.m. until 5 p.m every day of the week. Two employees work at the farm shop during the week days and three employees work at the farm shop during the weekends. No changes to the size of the existing farm shop building or the retail area within it are anticipated, and there will be no changes to the number of parking spaces provided at the farm shop. The products to be sold at the farm shop will be wine and wine - related items (i.e., items that are incidental to the sale of wine, including such merchandise as wine glasses and t- shirts). BOX 27491 RICHMOND, VIRGINIA 23261 (804) 213 -4400 FAX: (804) 213 -4411 TDD LOCAL (804) 213 -4687 By letter dated December 14, 2010, you have requested on behalf of your client, Farm Credit of the Virginias, ACA (Farm Credit), a permit be issued to Grand Cru Properties, LLC (Grand Cru), pursuant to subsection A 11 of § 4,1 -212 of the Code of Virginia. Grand Cru is a newly- organized Virginia limited liability company created to take title to the winery assets of Kluge Estate Winery and Vineyard, LLC (KEW), as a result of the secured creditor's sale conducted on December 8, 2010. You also requested that a permit be issued authorizing Farm Credit to sell to Grand Cru all wine in KEW's inventory at the time of the closing with Grand Cru, pursuant to the provisions of subsection A 10 of § 4.1 -212. Pursuant to the ,provisions of subdivision A (11) of § 4.1 -212 of the Code of Virginia, this letter stnalI constitute a permit for Grand Cru, upon closing of the purchase from the secured creditor's sale, to continue to operate the establishment licensed to KEW to the same extent as a person bolding such licenses for a period of 120 days from the closing. Pursuant to the provisions of subdivision A (10) of the same section, this letter shall connstitute a permit for Farm Credit, as secured party, to make the one -time sale of the inventory formerly owned by KEW to Grand Cru.
