The Final Site Plan for Re- Store'n Station, received on 14 June 2011 has been reviewed. The plan cannot
be approved as submitted and will require the following corrections before approval can be granted:
A. General Review Comments (SDP201100043)
1. A Water Protection Ordinance application and fee must be submitted for review. Please submit the
application and fee, along with an Erosion & Sediment Control plan and Stormwater Management
plan review. These plans must be approved prior to final site plan approval.
2. Please provide a completed copy of the standard stormwater maintenance agreement and fee for
recordation for any stormwater management facility.
3. Please provide copies of manufacturer's approval of the plan for any manufactured stormwater
management facilities (filterra).
4. Please provide the date for the topographic information.
5. Please specify on the plan: "Proposed slopes steeper than 3:1 must have low maintenance (not
grass) ground cover ".
6. All proposed entrances must be labeled with a VDOT designation (PE -1, CG -9a, etc.)
7. VDOT approval must be obtained prior to final site plan approval.
8. All proposed and existing storm sewers must show arrows indicating direction of flow.
9. Please provide Albemarle General Construction Notes. Please refer to the Design Standards
Manual.
10. Please provide throat length for each drainage inlet.
11. Please provide curb inlet computations for any curb inlet on grade or sump conditions.
12. Please provide outlet velocities in your drainage computations.
13. Please provide existing and proposed drainage area maps showing acreage, hydrologic
coefficients, time of concentration, and destination structures labeled.
14. Engineering has concerns with the interaction between the septic system and Raintank #2. It
appears that the raintank system is not completely impervious. Therefore, should any issues arise
with the septic system, infiltration of hazardous materials can penetrate through and contaminate
the water being stored in the raintank. If you'd like, you can meet with engineering to discuss
some alternatives to avoid this issue.
Once these comments have been addressed, please submit two (2) copies of the revised plans, calculations,
and narratives to Current Development Engineering.
Current Development Engineering is available from 2:30pm — 4:00pm on Thursdays to discuss these
review comments. Please contact John Diez at 434 - 296 -5832 or jdiez @albemarle.org to schedule an
appointment.
