These look good, other than addressing comments #3 & #5.

Mr. Campbell,
If you want to go ahead and submit the revised sheets for signature, you are welcome to do that; we will review the
revisions at that time and will simply require additional copies should subsequent revisions be necessary. You can
always just send me a PDF for a quick review if you want to avoid the possibility of additional copies.
As for the items below, I have discussed these with Bill and our responses are as follows:
3. Sec 15.2.2262 of the state code requires that plats for recordation be sealed. Section 14 -300 of County Code
requires that it be demonstrated that the plat has been prepared by a licensed engineer or surveyor. Section 14-
302(6)2 requires that the name of the person who prepared the plat be included on the plat. Therefore, we will
require that the seal of the person who prepared the plat be present on the plat. Relevant code is below for your
reference.
15.2 -2262. Requisites of plat.
Every subdivision plat which is intended for recording shall be prepared by a certified professional engineer or land
surveyor, who shall endorse upon each plat a certificate signed by him setting forth the source of title of the owner of
the land subdivided and the place of record of the last instrument in the chain of title. When the plat is of land
acquired from more than one source of title, the outlines of the several tracts shall be indicated upon the plat.
However, nothing herein shall be deemed to prohibit the preparation of preliminary studies, plans or plats of a
proposed subdivision by the owner of the land, city planners, land planners, architects, landscape architects or others
having training or experience in subdivision planning or design.
14 -300 Persons authorized to prepare plat.
Each plat shall be prepared by a professional engineer or a land surveyor, to the limits of his license.
14- 302(8)2 Name of plat preparer. The name of the person who prepared the plat.
5. The code clearly states that stream buffers in the water supply protection area are required to be 100' on each side
of a stream. I read through the noted deed during my review, along with County documentation of our reviews of
the subdivision application and couldn't find any reference to negotiated stream buffers. If you have some
documentation you can provide related to this negotiation, or a determination of some sort, we would be happy to
review it. Otherwise, we will require the stated 100' buffer.
Feel free to contact me at the number below, or Bill Fritz at ext. 3242 should you have additional questions or concerns.
Thank you,

Ellie,
I have made the changes additions per your 6 comments to Mike Boggs dated 6- 20 -11. Do you need to see the revised
sheets?
1. Private easement note added to Sheet 1.
2. Development note revised on Sheet 1.
3. 1 never know how to respond to this comment. I have had multiple conversations with Bill Fritz concerning this
note. The name of the preparer in my mind is Roudabush, Gale and Assoc. and our information is on each sheet.
It has been my experience based on Bill's advice that the County does not want my seal on the plat and we have
always given the County copies that are not sealed or signed. Let me know if I need to do anything beyond what I
have explained.
4. Reservoir watershed note revised on Sheet 1.
5. Stream buffers are shown as platted on the original subdivision plat recorded in 2449 p. 650. They were
negotiated at the time of the subdivision process and vary from 50' to 200'. 1 think we are correct with what we
show and these setbacks are in accordance with the wishes of the applicant.
6. 1 made the correction in the typo from 347.58' to 374.58' on Sheet 2. Good catch, thank you.
