The County of Albemarle Division of Current Development will grant or recommend approval of the boundary
line adjustment plat referenced above once the following comments have been addressed: [Each comment is
preceded by the applicable reference, which is to the Subdivision /Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise
specified.]
1. [14- 302(8)(1)] General Information. The boundary lines do not measure to the noted dimensions; it
appears the plat isn't printed to an accurate scale. Please provide properly scaled prints with the revisions.
2. [14- 302(8)(7)] Reservoir watershed. Please provide a notation indicating that these parcels are not within
a water supply watershed.
3. [14- 302(8)(9)] Flood plain. Parcels 59 and 59A are within the flood hazard overlay district. According to
FEMA FIRM community panel #51003CO268D, as noted on the cover sheet, portions of both parcels also
appear to be located in Flood Zone A, which is a Special Flood Hazard Area. Revise note #3 to reflect Zone
A instead of X, and /or add a note indicating the parcels lie within the flood hazard overlay district.
4. [Comment] According to County records, these parcels do lie within the service authority jurisdictional area
for both water and sewer. The note stating `Under current County Policy, public water and sewer will not be
available to this property.' should be removed.
5. [Comment] The note that begins, `Pursuant to Section 14- 212(D)...' isn't necessary on this plat.
