Subject: RE: Earlysville Business Park- SUB2011 -037 Good Morning Melody, Here is a list of things I will need to start the process for acceptance of this road into the state system. 1) CBR's for Sub -Grade (Soil Reports for Value) to see if the preliminary road design plans are equivalent to the soil reports. 2) Density Test for Sub -Grade 3) For #21 -A Base Stone; Roller Patterns, Control and Density Test 4) For Asphalt; Roller Patterns and all Density Test 5) Copy of VDOT /County Approved Plans 6) A copy of preliminary As- Builts for road and a preliminary copy of plats for review and comment.( The county will also need a copy of these for review as well) 7) After all of this is submitted in a packet at one time I will need to review and then schedule a 45 -day inspection of the road and see if the road was built as approved. The center line will need to be surveyed and pinned in the field for inspection to show any misalignments of the roadway when built. 8) As -Built will need to show cross sections of existing grade, proposed grade and as -built grade. 9) As -built centerline will need to be shown with distance in feet off centerline left or right when surveyor pins centerline. This will be all of the items that I will need to initially get started on the review. If you should have any questions please give me call or e-mail and I can help you with the process.
