Subject: SDP - 2011 -067- Gallihugh Property - Tier II PWSF- Final
The Planner for the Planning Division of the Albemarle County Department of Community
Development will recommend approval for the plan referred to above when the following items
have been satisfactorily addressed. (The following comments are those that have been identified
at this time. Additional comments or conditions may be added or eliminated based on further
review.) [Comments 1 thru 4 are preceded by the applicable reference to the Albemarle County
Code.]
1. [5.1.4(c)(2)] Revise Sheet C -4 Enlarged Site Plan to include a note indicating that
outdoor lighting for the facility shall be permitted only during maintenance periods.
2. [5.1.4(c)(3)] Revise Sheet C -3 Elevation View to include a note indicating that no point
on the face of the antenna shall project more than 12 inches from the face of the existing
structure to which it is attached.
3. [5.1.4(d)(7)] Revise General Note 3, Sheet C -3 Elevation View, to reference the required
paint color product ID Sherwin Williams ( #6090) Java Brown.
4. [5.1.4(d)(8)] Revise Sheet C -3 Elevation View to include a note indicating that all
vertical cables, wiring and similar attachments on the outside of the pole shall be placed
to face the interior of the property, away from public view.
5. Miscellaneous /errors:
a. The parcel under review is mistakenly identified as being located in an Entrance
Corridor Overlay District on page 2 (Character of the Area) of the project
description/analysis. Please remove this incorrect reference.
b. The proposed 8 1/z foot tall pipe mast extension is misidentified as 21 /z foot tall at the
top of page 5 of the project description/analysis. Please correct this error.
c. The application drawings and project description/analysis misidentify the parcel
address as 3626 Dick Woods Road. The correct address is 3624 Dick Woods Road.
Please revise the application drawings and project description/analysis to indicate the
correct address
