PO Box 2257 Charlottesville, Va 22902 RE: ARB- 2011 -120: Jim Price Chevrolet Building Renovation Tax Map 45, Parcel 68 Dear Mr. Anderson: The Albemarle County Architectural Review Board reviewed the above noted item at its meeting on Monday, November 21, 2011. The Board, by a vote of 4:0 approved the request, pending staff administrative approval of the following conditions: 1. Revise the canopy light fixtures and provide an updated photometric plan showing light levels of no more than 30 fc. Include on the plan the manufacturer's cut sheets confirming full cutoff style and indicating lamp type and wattage. Include a luminaire schedule on the plan. 2. Remove the stainless frame at the front brick opening. 3. Revise the mortar color for the darker brick to match the darker brick. 4. Provide details for the brick detailing on the drawings. 5. Please also note that: A sign permit is required for the proposed signs. Submittal requirements are included with the sign permit application form. The form is available at www.albemarle.org /signs. Please provide: 1. Two full sets of revised drawings addressing each of these conditions. Include updated ARB revision dates on each drawing. 2. A memo including detailed responses indicating how each condition has been satisfied. If changes other than those requested have been made, identify those changes in the memo also. Highlighting the changes in the drawing with "clouding" or by other means will facilitate review and approval. 3. The attached "Revised Application Submittal" form. This form must be returned with your revisions to ensure proper tracking and distribution. When staff's review of this information indicates that all conditions of approval have been met, a Certificate of Appropriateness may be issued.
