SUMMARY OF RECOMMENDATIONS Staff recommends the following as the primary points of discussion: 1. The location of sign bands on the building. 2. The horizontal alignment of signs within the bands and their relationship with architectural elements (e.g. windows, doors). 3. The sign height. Staff recommends approval of the Certificate of Appropriateness for the AT &T sign with the following conditions: 1. Revise the sign drawing to indicate the faces and returns of the reverse channel letters are to be opaque. 2. Revise the sign drawing to include the following note regarding lighting intensity: The level of illumination provided by the LED lights will not exceed the illumination produced by a single stroke of 30 milliamp (ma) neon. 11 Staff recommends approval of the following Comprehensive Sign Criteria for Luxor Commercial Center, Buildings 4 & 5, revised as per staff recommendations outlined in the analysis section of this report, as follows.
