Good Morning Nena,
I have reviewed the preliminary plats and it appears that the drainage easements needed around the DI's are in place
and the drainage easements extend out into the next phase from the new road where needed. I have no additional
comments or need for more easements on the submitted plats. Please record from VDOT's review when ready.
Thanks,

Dennis,
Thank you for your phone call. I would love to know where the plats are that I took to the County but, nevertheless,
attached are subdivision plats for your review. It is a pleasure dealing with someone who is as responsive as you.
Thanks again,
Nena

Alex,
Attached is the revised plat. Let me know if it looks good.
I revised the following:
1 easement on Sheet 6
20 easements on Sheet 7
And the line table on Sheet 9

Brian,
If easements are greater than 20' you can leave them. If you come across an easement that Jeremy missed on an FH that
is less than 20', please increase to 20' and centered so the edge of the easement is 10' off all sides of the FH. Thanks.

Alex,
Some of the easements are greater than 20' in width. Is it okay to leave those as is or should I reduce the widths to 20'?
Do you want the easements covering the hydrants increased to 20' also?
Thanks,

Alex,
Thank you for your response. I am passing it along to engineer and surveyor via this email for their comment. I am
thinking later with as builts /dedication so it does not interfere with signature on subdivision plat now. Does that work?

Nena,
I do not know where the breakdown is. If this plat was just resubmitted to the county, they may have thought we had no
further comments and decided not to send it over. I still do not know what Briarwood plat is in the mail to me from the
County. I am assuming it is this plat, but I won't know until I get it. Since everything from the county comes to me for
review, I have made it clear that if it has anything to do with sewer or water, I want to see it. Even if they think I won't
have comments, I want to see it. So that should clear up this mess.
Jeremy reviewed the plat and there is one change that we want to make. I am going to give you the option of changing it
now, or before dedication. If you change it now you will need to do the following:
• Add a note to the cover page that all water and sewer easements will be centered on as -built locations.
On sheet 7 make the easements on all the water service lines 20 feet wide.
If you change later:
Center the easements on the as -built locations.
On sheet 7 make the easements on all water service lines 20 feet wide.
If you make the changes later just be sure to make them before you record the plat. I will check the plat at dedication to
ensure that the widths are correct.
In the past some water service easements have been less than 20 feet wide. We are attempting to make sure all
easements are now 20 feet wide, unless we determine there is a reason they can't be.
I hope that answers all of your questions. Sorry about the e-mail tag to figure it out.
