Innisfree's woodshop, in operation for almost four decades, serves as
both a therapeutic workstation for Innisfree's residents (coworkers) and as a workshop for Innisfiee's small
construction and repair projects.
Open 3 days a week as a therapeutic workstation, the woodshop handcrafts fine wood products, such as cutting
boards, cooling racks, trivets, butter knives, spatulas, key fobs, and decorative boxes. These items are sold in
select local retail outlets, at craft fairs, and through lnnisfree's online store.
The woodshop uses only native hardwoods and eco -friendly, food -safe oil finishes that allow the natural beauty
of the wood to be enjoyed. Some woods are salvaged fi-om the construction projects of local businesses and
individuals.

" .."0" " ` '. Innisfree's weavery, which began almost four decades ago,
has 20 looms and operates 4 days a week. It provides an outlet for the creative expression of our weavers, who
weave placemats, scarves, shawls, shirts, blankets, and other items. All weavery items are made from natural
fibers. Some yarns are dyed in-house. Finished woven pieces are sold in select local retail outlets, at craft fairs,
and through Irnjsfree's online store.
Every weavery item carries a label personalized with the name of the weaver who wove it, reinforcing a sense of
accomplishment for the craftsperson. To further foster pride in a job well done, weavers help at local craft fairs,
where they meet the individuals who purchase their wares.
Innisfiee's weavery satisfies the creative juices of Iruiisfree's volunteer caregivers and long-term staff too. They
design many of the iterns that go on weavery looms, plus they have the opportunity to learn to weave themselves
on a large, shared loom.
