RE: SDP2022-48 Regents School of Charlottesville Letter of Revision
To Whom It May Concern,
SDP2022-48 Regents School of Charlottesville is a final site plan for tax map parcels 07600-00-00-01700
and 07500-00-00-06600 to establish a private school use on Reservoir Road. The approved final site plan
proposes 15 classrooms, housed in 8 structures, one gymnasium, one locker room, and two administrative
buildings, collectively the ‘Lower School’ of Regents. Per County determination, issued on April 12,
2020, up to 322 students is permitted to be served on the property. In a previous Letter of Revision, it
was requested that Building D3 and Building F be constructed as two-story buildings to provide an
additional four classrooms for the Lower School. An accessible route was to be provided by a chair lift
between in Building D3. The chair lift in Building D3 is no longer proposed due to issues with the grade
and finish floor elevations. The new accessible path is now proposed to be a 390-LF 5’ concrete sidewalk
from the concrete pad below the Plaza to the back side of Building F. In addition, an 8% ramp is
provided for accessibility from Building A sidewalk to the concrete pad below the Plaza.
Materials included in this submission are (1) full-size digital copy of the LOR plan shown on Sheet C9 of
the approved site plan, SDP2022-48 & the receipt for online payment of the LOR fee. (4) full-size hard
copies may be provided, at the request of the County.
