Mr. Groper,
I have reviewed your sign application for the Fairfield Inn sign at 577 Branchlands Boulevard and have
identified the following issues that will need to be addressed before I can administratively approve this
proposal.
Wall Sign:
Wall Sim ype:
The sign type (e.g. channel letter etc) is not listed on the photo- rendering.
• Revise the rendering to indicate the sign type. If it is channel letter, a note is required on the drawing
that the raceway will be painted to match to surface to which it is attached to.
Wall Sign Materials:
Proposed materials (e.g. acrylic, vinyl, paint) are not listed on the photo- rendering.
• Revise the rendering to indicate the proposed materials.
Wall Sign Colors:
Color samples or the Pantone equivalent numbers for the wall sign were not provided.
• Revise the rendering to indicate the Pantone numbers for the sign colors. Be aware that Pantone 458C is
a color that cannot be approved administratively.
Wall Sign Dimensions:
The height and width of two rows of text "INN & SUITES" & "Marriott" was not indicated on the photo -
rendering.
• Revise the sign detail on the photo - rendering to include the height and width of those two rows of text.
Wall Sign Illumination:
The method of illumination, if any, was not indicated on the photo- rendering.
• Revise the photo- rendering to indicate the method, if any, of illumination. Signage with LED lighting is
required to have the following note on the drawing:
The level of illumination provided by the LED lights will not exceed the illumination produced by a single stroke of 30
milliamp (mo) neon.
Freestanding Sign:
Freestanding Sign Materials & Colors:

illuminate.
ARB Review Fee
The $120 ARB review fee was not paid when the application was made. This will not hold up the review of this
proposal however the permit cannot be issued until the fee is paid.
Please email me the revised drawings. I will be following this email shortly (today) with any comments
concerning the JoAnn Fabrics sign proposal. Once I email that, I will follow this all up with a phone call to
make sure my comments are clear.
