Subject: Homewood Suites (SDP201200007) Preliminary Site plan
The preliminary site plan has been reviewed.
1. VDOT approval will be required.
2. Please show the following items on the preliminary site plan:
a. Date and source of topography: All topography should be at least visually field
verified by the designer within the last year [18- 32.6.6, 14 -302, policy for date]
b. Benchmark location, elevation, and datum for topography are required. An
existing utility or other known position will suffice. [Policy]
c. CG -6 for curbing that will convey stormwater flows. [18- 4.12.15.g]
d. loading spaces, 12'x25' (with a minimum aisle width of 24') accessible at all
times (not behind parking) [18- 4.12.13]
e. Dumpster area appears to trap stormwater flows. drainage will not run across,
through, or backwater in dumpster areas [ 18- 4.12.19]
f. Areas of the parking lot appear to exceed the 5% slope (in any direction) [18-
4.12.15.c]
3. Prior to final approval please submit the following:
a. WPO application, fees, and plans for review. Please note: a permanent diversion
through the site until required stabilization is not possible. Please reconsider
E &SC perimeter controls prior to WPO submittal.
b. Show source of 15" PVC pipe in rear of site. Make sure this is not from off -site
source and does not have an existing easement.
