With regard to the Travis Douglas Family Division for Edith Kelly, can you please forward the email below to Mr. John

These are my remaining comments for him to address, the email address he provided me bounced back and did not

Mr. Kelly,
As discussed during our in person meeting I am providing you an update on all that is remaining prior to
approval of the Family Subdivision for Edith Kelly which is currently under review in our office. Per
conversations with John Winn of VDOT, your private road entrance is approved as is, no modifications
are required.
Below are the remaining items needed:
Health Department Approval
1) Through discussions with Josh Kirtley of the Health Department the 7.572 acre residue lot (TM 21 -3, Lot C-
1) only has a primary drainfield, before we can approve the plat this lot will need to be upgraded to have a
reserve drainfield located onsite and approved by the Health Department.
Thus either provide this office three copies of the results of percolation tests or other methods of soil evaluation
used to determine the suitability of the soil for septic systems with conventional drain fields for review and
approval by the Health Department OR provide Josh Kirtley of the Health Department your soil work directly
for his review and approval.
Restrictive Covenants
2) Also, as discussed submit a draft of the restrictive covenant to me, and I will review them and forward them
to the County Attorney for his review/ approval. For your convenience I have attached a Microsoft Word
version of the draft covenants for you to have filled out and submit (assure you revise all the dates on the form
to be updated).
Groundwater Tier 2 Assessment
3) Also, as discussed you are required to have a Tier 2 groundwater assessment conducted prior to approval of
the subdivision. Provide the proper fee of $330 for this assessment. Provide your payment to the Community
Development front desk.
