Please provide three copies of the plan so they can be stamped approved and make sure the modifications you provided via email are within these sets. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Phil From: Tim Miller [ mailto :tmiller(ameridianwbe.com] Sent: Friday, February 17, 2012 4:44 PM To: Philip Custer Subject: RE: Engineering review of Country Green Cottages (WPO- 2011 - 00051) Phil, Attached is the letter from the Owner of Lot 13 granting permission to make the changes to the roof drain. I have also attached a plan and detail for the outfall at the stream. If this is an acceptable solution then I will incorporate it into the plans and submit three copies. I don't have anything in mind for a solution to the outlet. When I visited the site, it looked as though a considerable amount of riprap had been washed down towards the stream. Because of the grade from the outlet to the bottom of the stream, I think some more consideration other than another reference to the OP standard is warranted, especially since most of those details assume a 0% grade. The Developer will be submitting a permission letter for the work to be done on Lot 13. It is my understanding that the installation of the outlet protection was not completed when the sediment basin was constructed. The existing outlet protection will be re- installed when the sediment basin is converted to a SWM facility. Will this be sufficient or did you have something else in mind? Is the County going to require an as -built of the revised basin prior to installing the bio- filter material? Thanks, Tim Miller, P.E., L.S. The plan is hereby approved on the condition that the letter regarding the roofdrains from the adjacent owner is received and more direction is provided to the contractor to address the erosion concerns between the basin outlet and the stream (comment 8). No bond modification is necessary. Please submit 3 new copies of the plan once a better solution to the pond outlet is designed. These plans will not be stamped "approved" until the letter from the adjacent property owner is signed so that roofdrains can be routed to the biofilter as originally designed and approved. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Phil (434)296 -5832 x3072
