Subject: SUB201100140- Old Trail Blocks 3C, 5, 6, 20, 21 & 22- Preliminary Plat
The Planner for the Zoning & Current Development Division of the Albemarle County
Department Community Development will recommend approve the plan referred to above when
the following items have been satisfactorily addressed. (The following comments are those that
have been identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions may be added or eliminated
based on further review.) [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference to the
Albemarle County Code.]
1. [14 -302 (A)(5)] Public easements. Is there a landscape and sidewalk easement along Old
Trail Drive? This is not labeled.
Revl: If this easement is existing, provide a deed book and page number for it. If it
is proposed, provide a maintenance agreement.
2. [14 -302 (A)(8)] Proposed lots. Revise the lot labels /numbers to be chronological, Lot 1,
Lot 2, Lot 3, Lot 4, etc.
Revl: Comment not addressed. It is too confusing the way the lots are labeled.
Revised as stated previously.
3. [ 14 -302 (A)(8)] Proposed lots. The note that states Lot 2 in Block 22 is incorrect, that lot
is located in Block 21.
Revl: Comment addressed.
4. [14 -302 (A)(8)] Proposed lots. What is `Parcel A' and `Parcel B'? This label is in two
separate locations, and it is unclear what this label is, or what it is for. Clarify or remove.
Revl: Comment addressed.
5. [14 -302 (A)(12)] Topography. Show the existing topography on the property.
Revl: Comment not addressed. Topography needs to be shown on preliminary
plats.
