The site development Plans submitted 27 March 2012 have received Engineering Review and do not appear
to meet Albemarle County minimum checklist items for approval. Please adequately address the following
comments for final approval:
A) Site Development plans (SDP201200015)
1) Perpendicular Parking spaces along Kirtley road cannot exceed 5% slope. Please remove these parking
spaces. [18- 4.12.15.c]
2) Please raise or slope dumpster pad so stormwater does not flow through or back up into dumpster area.
3) Site plan appears to conflict with the Korean Church site plans SDP201200019. Please verify site
development can occur as proposed for both sites.
4) Please submit copies of permanent and temporary offsite grading and erosion control
agreements /easements.
B) Stormwater Management Plan (WP0201200030)
1) Stormwater quality analysis must use formulae on page 8 of 18 of the County Design Manual. Calculations
indicate 0.37 lbs. of removal are required not 0.10 lbs as stated in submittal.
2) If infiltration's desired, then a soil test for perk rates will be required per 3.10 VSMH. Bottom of detention
will have to be shown on the plans to be level prior to filling with stone.
C) Erosion Control Plan (WP0201200030)
1) Please update the E &SC notes to match the County Design Standards Manual requirements.
2) Please show the temporary paved construction entrance detail from the County Design Manual.
3) Inlet protection for DI -1 will need to be one that works in pavement. Std. & Spec. 3.07 block and gravel
inlet protection or acceptable alternative.
Once these comments have been addressed, please submit 3 copies of the revised plans, calculations, and narratives
to Current Development Engineering along with the required review fee and transmittal form.
Due to requested changes, additional comments and/or conditions may be forthcoming.
Current Development Engineering is available from 2:30 -4 PM on Thursdays to discuss these review comments.

[17- 204.f] An application for an erosion and sediment control plan that requires modifications, terms, or conditions to be included in order for it to
be approved shall be deemed to be withdrawn if the owner fails to submit a revised plan addressing the omitted modifications, terms or conditions
within six (6) months after the owner is informed of the omitted information as provided under paragraph (B).
