Please consider this e-mail as your initial review comments for LOR #1 to SDP - 2011 -028 Willow Glen
— Minor.
LOR #1 to SDP - 2011 -028 reflects boundary line adjustments that have not yet been approved.
Approval of SDP - 2011 -028 will be contingent on approval of SUB - 2012 -042 Willow Glen - BLA,
which is currently under review. The below review comments are those that have been identified at
this time. Additional comments may be added or eliminated with further. review. References are to the
Albemarle County Code.
Aside from the revisions that will need to be incorporated in conjunction with SUB - 2012 -042 (these
will be provided at a later date in accordance with the BLA review schedule), the following will be .
required:
• 1. [32.5.6a] Name of owner and developer, tax map and parcel number, zoning, etc. Due to
changes following the approval of SUB - 2011 -133 Willow Glen — Final and SUB - 2011 -135
Dickerson Ridge — BLA, general site data appears to have changed. For example, the TMP
appears to be 32 -49K, but the LOR is tied to SDP - 2011 -028 on TMP 32 -49F. Update this
information. Add a sheet number and total number of sheets. Add /revise the date of last
revision with each re- submittal.
• 2. [32.5.6b] Update proposed uses and maximum acreage occupied by each use. Since a
landscape plan is required, provide an updated sum figure for maximum amount of paved
parking and vehicular circulation areas.
• 3. [32.5.6n] Following approval of SUB -2012 -042, provide updated locations and dimensions
of all existing and proposed improvements, as necessary.
• 4. [32.6.6a].The various written schedules may need be updated.
• 5. [32.6.61/32.7.9] SDP - 2011 -028 Willow Glen — Minor, includes both required and
supplemental plantings, as does the original site plan, SDP - 2008 -086 Willow Glen — Final.
Provide an updated landscape plan for review and approval.
• 6. [32.6.6j] Outdoor lighting is not currently shown on the LOR, so it does not appear to be
proposed. However, if outdoor lighting in excess of 3000 lumens is proposed, provide a lighting
plan to include photometric plan, luminaire schedule, manufacturer's cut sheets, etc. for review
and approval.
• 7. [19.6.1] Minimum area requirements for open space and recreational uses have not yet
been confirmed. This information will be provided with SUB - 2012 -042 Willow - BLA review.
Please note that definitive review comments will not be available until SUB - 2012 -042 Willow Glen —
BLA is approved. At that time, I will provide more specific review comments. It is also recommended
that revisions for the LOR be submitted then.
Additionally, Engineering has provided the following comments:
The WPO plans will need to be revised to match the LOR. Please submit applications and fees for
both the E &SC and SWM plan revisions.
