Stormwater Management Plan Review 1. SWM plan appears to meet the minimum requirements set forth in the County Ordinance. C. Erosion & Sediment Control Plan Review 1. Please show the Albemarle Paved Construction entrance on the plan. 2. The Temporary Paved Wash Rack description in the narrative shall have a note stating "A minimum water tap of 1" must be installed with a minimum 1" ball -cock shutoff valve supplying a wash hose with a diameter of 1.5" for adequate constant pressure. Wash water must be carried away from the entrance to an approved settling area to remove sediment. All sediment shall be prevented from entering storm drains, ditches or water courses. Should the temporary construction entrance not be maintained properly or an excessive amount of soil found tracked onto the public roadway, then a paved construction entrance, water tanker truck with 2 pressure washers and a settling area may be required by the erosion and sediment control program administrator." 3. The 18" HDPE pipe from the storage tank will need anchorage to resist failure. Please use the VDOT pipe anchorage system for pipe slopes in excess of 16 %. 4. The 18" HDPE pipe from the storage tank will need to be extended to the 100 year flood plain or level ground. It appears at least 180' of pipe is required as a minimum. Please see Std. & Spec. 3.18 design criteria, pipe outlets.
