All of the remaining technical comments from my letter on Monday have been addressed with the pdfs you send this
morning. The ESC plan is hereby approved. I need 4 copies of the ESC plan to pass off to the Erosion and Sediment
Control Inspector (Megan will need more for site plan approval whenever that is to occur). If no other changes to the
plan have been made for other department comments, please send me two full sets with updated sheets C -4 and C -6.2
and two copies of both C -4 and C -6.2 that I can merge into the two copies that I have now.
Can you please provide me with the check number for the $300 check you sent in early April for the 2nd ESC review and
variation? The payment is missing from the application in our tracking software and I'm afraid it got thrown away with
the FeclEx packaging. I will get with our intake staff and perform a search for the payment in the tracking software once
I have the check number to make sure it wasn't applied to another project. Could you also verify whether the payment
has been deducted from the account and, if so, when?
A grading permit can be issued by the county once the additional copies have been provided to me, the site plan has
been signed by the planner, the bond has been posted, and the first year and inspection fees have been paid (and
perhaps the review /variation fee, see above). The grading permit will be issued at a pre- construction meeting that you
will need to schedule with the ESC inspector after all of the above have been accomplished.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Phil

Phil,
Please see the attached revised plan and detail sheet showing revisions to address the following comments:
• Comment #1a: This note has been added to curb inlet #1
• Comment #1b: The area going to the temporary sediment pond has been updated to 0.57 acres and the size of
the trap has been adjusted accordingly.
• Comment #1c: the detail has been added to sheet C -6.2 and referred to on sheet C -4 at Grate Inlet #7. We've
also shown contours around the inlet to show the slope and have adjusted the size of the temporary pond
accordingly.
• Comment #4: the CE symbol has been added to this area
• Comment #7: 1 am currently working with Kroger and the shopping center owner to get this bond executed. I
will also be sending Ana the check for $200 for the permit and first inspection fee this week.
Please let me know if I've missed anything. My PE will be in tomorrow and I can have him sign /seal the revised drawings
and resend them to you.
Thank you.

Ali,
Attached is the engineering comment letter from the review of the first revision to the ESC plan for Kroger Fuel at Rio
Hill Shopping Center (WPO- 2012 - 00016). The plan can be approved after a few remaining graphical issues have been
worked out. These can be hashed out over email in the next few days and will not require another review fee. I will
provide a bond estimate to you tomorrow. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Phil
