HomeMy WebLinkAboutWPO201100097 Review Comments Erosion Control Plan 2012-04-30Philip Custer From: Philip Custer Sent: Monday, April 30, 2012 11:21 AM To: 'Scott Collins'; 'Graham Murray'; 'Bob Bossi'; 'David Foky' Cc: Glenn Brooks; Ana Kilmer; Kenny Thacker Subject: RE: Engineering review of ESC and mitigation plans for RRPC Good morning, I have reviewed the latest revisions to the ESC and mitigation plans for the Rivanna Rifle Club (WPO- 2011 - 00097) to address the comments outlined in my previous email below. All remaining comments have been addressed and the plans are hereby approved. This approval is conditioned on the fact that the access path to the target construction area is contained completely on the Rivanna Rifle and Pistol Club property as indicated in Collins Engineering's latest drawing. I will need 4 complete sets of the plan to pass off to the ESC inspector. Please either drop off 4 complete copies of the updated plan set to my attention or let me know when someone will be dropping by to slip in the 5 updated sheets into each of the 4 sets that I have. To receive a bond estimate, please complete a Bond Estimate Request Form and submit it to the County Engineer. This form must include TMP's 89 -84 and 89 -52H since the entrance to the site is located on TMP 89 -52H. A grading permit cannot be issued until the bond has been posted, the four copies of the plan have been provided, the first year permit and inspection fee paid, and a pre- construction meeting held. Please let me know if you have any questions. On this visit, I will need to: - document the state of the rifle range buffer area, as indicated in comment A.1.c. -walk the 12ft wide dirt path to determine its adequacy for construction access. Construction Road Stabilization (CRS) may be needed from the work area to an existing driveway, as previously stated in Comment A.4. - verify that the proposed mitigation area is unwooded. Currently, it is shown as forested on the aerial photographs on the county's GIS website (see below). } e 1 f 4Fi l Please email me what the best times to close the range are and I will let you know what works for me. All other outstanding comments have been addressed with this latest submittal. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Phil Custer 296 -5832 x3072 4
