entrance. The logo, with its symmetrical,
elliptical shape, has a balanced and
proportional relationship with the text
beneath, resulting in an integrated appearance
for the overall sign. The available sign area on
the entrance portal is significant due to the
overall size of the structure and the use of a
single facing material (glass panels). The
logo, despite its significant size (9' 3- 5/16"
long x 6' tall), does not overcrowd the wall to
which it is attached and has a coordinated
appearance with the structure.
Should the ARB determine that the logo is
oversized, the size and alignment of the logo
in Sign 6 (which was previously approved by
the ARB) may also be considered appropriate
for signage on the entrance portal.

Summary of Recommendations:
Staff recommends the following as the primary points of discussion:
1. The size of the logo on the entrance portal and its integration with the channel letters.
2. The internal illumination of the logo.
Staff recommends approval of a Certificate of Appropriateness for the signs with the following conditions:
1. Revise the sign drawings by removing the note that reads "RED COLOR MATCH 485C PANTONE ".
