The applicants responses that the road geometry was in consultation with VDOT during the rezoning is inaccurate. VDOT made the same comments on many revisions of the rezoning plan and never approved the substandard geometry shown on this plan. It is assumed by the comment responses that the applicant is unwilling to meet the minimum VDOT standards in accordance with the Secondary Street Acceptance Regulations. These streets as shown in the site plan are not eligible for inclusion in the State Secondary System of Highways for maintenance. VDOT's review from here forward will be based only on the connection to Worth Crossing as a commercial entrance and the emergency entrance to Moubry Lane. 3. Previous comments from VDOT on February 3, 2012 for the rezoning plan noted that the second connection to Moubry Lane had been removed and the increase in traffic to the entrance at Worth crossing will now warrant a right turn taper. The design of the taper will need to be shown in the site plan. 4. Show sight distances and sight line profiles at the proposed street connection to Worth Crossing.
