Re: Albemarle Square — The Fresh Market
Dear Mr. Hinson:
We have reviewed the plans entitled "Albemarle Square The Fresh Market
Charlottesville" dated July 26, 2012. The following comments need to be
addressed:
Sheet C1.0
1. Place P.E. stamp on all sheets; original stamp and signature required on
first sheet.
Sheet C2.0
1. Show the location of the existing sanitary sewer lateral for the building.
This lateral will need to be properly abandoned at the sanitary sewer main.
Sheet C3.0
1. Show the existing fire line serving this building.
2. It appears that additional water easements will be necessary for the water
meter vault. This easement will need to be reviewed and approved by our
office prior to execution and recordation. The ACSA will not release this
water meter until the necessary easement documents have been
recorded.
3. Provide deed book and page numbers for the existing water and sanitary
sewer easements.
4. The existing copper service from the water main will need to be properly
abandoned at the corporation stop.
5. Field verify the diameter of the sanitary sewer main in front of the building.
Our records indicate an 8 -inch diameter vitrified clay pipe.
6. All of the sanitary sewer shown on the profile will be privately owned and
should be labeled as such. The inspection of this sanitary sewer main will
be handled by County Building Inspections office.
7. Meter lid must be traffic rated.

sewer main?
