The first erosion and sediment control plan and stormwater management plan submittal
(WP0201200072) submitted 8 August 2012 has received Engineering Review and does not
appear to meet Albemarle County minimum checklist items for approval. Please adequately
address the following comments for final approval:
A. Application Information
1) Please renumber sheets L1.0, L2.0, and L3.0 (should be sheets 6 -8 of 8).
B. Proposed Plan View Information
1) Please provide detail for proposed 15" nyloplast yard drains.
2) Please propose and label drainage pipes to connect structure 100 and two unnamed 15"
nyloplast basins to existing underground storm drainage system.
3) Please clarify intent of MH1 -MH4 shown on sheet 4. If this is profile for proposed
sanitary sewers, please label these manholes in plan sheet. Please depict existing and
proposed ground and proposed crossing under retaining wall in profile view.
C. Drainage Profiles
1) Please include drainage profiles for drain connections referenced in B2.
D. Stormwater Management Plan
1) Please include county general stormwater notes.
E. Erosion & Sediment Control Plan
1) Please clarify project description — name of expanded building does not match plans. If
Vista Building is a part of Monticello Building, please include statement in Project
Description.
2) Please include a depiction of existing soils boundaries.
3) Please locate and depict in detail a construction entrance for this project.
4) Please identify staging and contractor parking areas, or comment if these are anticipated
on existing impervious surfaces or within the proposed limits of disturbance.

Once the comments have been addressed, please submit 2 copies of the revised plans, calculations, and
narratives to Community Development Engineering along with the required review fee and transmittal
form.
Current Development Engineering is available from 2:30 -4 PM on Thursdays to discuss these review

[17- 204.G] An approved erosion and sediment control plan shall be void if the owner fails to obtain a
grading, building or other permit for activities involving land disturbing activities within one (1) year after
the date of the approval.
