Hi Ron,
I received the revisions to the minor amendment this week and gave them a brief review while distributing them to
other reviewers. It appears that there are several issues. 1) none of the previous comments have been addressed, and
2) items that were previously designated as 'proposed' are now labeled 'existing'. My previous comments were as
follows:
1. This Minor Site Plan Amendment should reference the approved Site Plan that you are attempting to amend
(SDP 201000074). A simple note on the plan is sufficient.
2. 1 have the same comment about the fixture under the awning as Margaret did. Additional information on that
fixture would be helpful.
3. The Lighting Plan should include a luminaire schedule and a photometric plan. I believe Margaret has already
requested this information as well.
4. The lighting plan should include standard lighting notes. They are generally as follows: 'Each outdoor luminaire
equipped with a lamp that emits 3,000 or more initial lumens shall be a full cutoff luminaire. The spillover of
lighting from luminaires onto public roads and property in residential or rural areas zoning districts shall not
exceed one -half footcandle.'
A lighting plan, including the photometric plan and luminaire schedule mentioned in #3 above, is required for the minor
amendment submittal. If the awning fixture referenced in #2 is no longer included, please note that. Additionally,
please provide a list of all proposed changes to the site plan on the plan itself. Clarification as to why elements
previously shown as proposed are now listed as existing, even though the previous submittal was never approved, will
also be required.
The easiest way to approach this may be to submit the exact same set of plans that was submitted for ARB review with
the notes about the original site plan number and the list of proposed changes added. A phone call to clarify existing
versus proposed may also be the most efficient ... I would have called you, but I can't seem to find your number. My
contact information is below.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
