County of Albemarle
Department of Community Development
The final subdivision plat has been reviewed:
1. Biofilter 3 appears on approved and SWM plans WP020 1 1 -00024 (see sheet 22). However, as
shown, this SWM facilities appear to be in Open Space for Phase 3. Recommend either a
dedicated stormwater management access easement for this facility and associated access roads or
an applicant demonstrated perpetual covenant specific to Glenmore be included to ensure access
for county and Glenmore Community Association inspection and maintenance.
(Rev]) Please include an easement which connects Biofilter 3 with a public road for
maintenance and inspection access. Path needs to be a minimum of 10' wide. Could combine
either 24' Drainage Easement between Lots 6 & 7 or ACSA sewer easement between Lots 5 & 6
with SWM Maintenance Access easement to get to the open space or provide a separate
dedicated easement area.
2. Nine water main leads appear on the southwest side of Ferndown Lane to serve Lots 20 -32 on
approved road plans (SUB2009- 00004) (see sheets 4 and 5) along with associated water
easements. Recommend including these with final plat.
(Rev]) Comment has been addressed.
3. One water main lead appears on the east side of Road `A' (future Lockerbie Lane) to serve Lot 9
on approved road plans (SUB2009- 00004) (see sheets 7) along with associated water easements.
Recommend including these with final plat.
