The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the plat referenced above once
the following comments have been addressed: [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference, which is
to the Subdivision /Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.]
1. [14- 302(8)(1)] General information. Please provide the sheet number and total number of sheets on each
sheet. It appears that the plat is not printed to scale; a properly scaled plat must be provided when signature
is requested. Also, for future submittals, please provide the date of the last revision.
2. [14- 302(8)(5)] Zoning classification. Provide a note that indicates the zoning classification of the parcel, as
well as the fact that it lies in the entrance corridor.
3. [14- 302(8)(7)] Reservoir watershed. Revise the note regarding the watershed to read, `Parcel 94 lies in the
South Fork Rivanna watershed, but is not located within a water supply protection area'.
4. [14- 303(H)] Monuments. Indicate the location and material of all permanent reference monuments.
Monuments found or installed prior to plat recordation may be referred to if they are permanent and
undisturbed. If any monument required by this chapter will be installed after recordation of the final plat, the
certification of the professional engineer or land surveyor shall so note.
5. [14- 303(1)] Bearing and distance ties. Provide a definite bearing and distance tie between not less than two
(2) permanent monuments on the exterior boundary of the property and further tie to existing street
intersection where possible and reasonably convenient.
6. [14- 303(0)] Signature panels. Please list Mr. Thomas Foley under the County signature line.
7. [14 -312] Location of existing buildings. Provide the location of any existing buildings within fifty (50) feet of
any proposed easement line.
