T rey,
Michelle spoke correctly, while we received VDOT approval of the road plans this week, at this time we are awaiting Fire
and Rescue to finalize their review. Thus at this time the road plan is not approved. We hope to have something
definitive for you very soon, notably I'll be meeting with the Fire and Rescue Dept late tomorrow and hope to have
something finite by meetings end.
Aside from that, as you know we received County Attorney re- approval of the HOA /maintenance docs today, so that
item appears good to go.
Also, I have completed my review of the final subdivision plat which was submitted on March 5th... everything looks
good from my end, aside from the road bonds being posted which are contingent on the road plan being approved... etc.
However, per discussions with the Subdivision Agent it appears that the wording of note #20 on the plat is
inadequate for enforcement purposes and needs to be revised per the proffers and the code of development.
Revise note #20 to state: "Upon the request of Albemarle County, a fifty (50) foot wide portion of the
open space area shown as "Open Space B ", shall be dedicated to public use, as a necessary, for future
realignment of Killdeer Lane."
The above revision of note #20 can be reviewed via PDF through email, assure the plat to be approved has the revised
note.
Other than the above, I'll get back to you as soon I know the status of the road plan.

Thanks Michelle — I will review this bond estimate and let you know if any questions, but please let me know in regards
to your comment that the road plan has not been approved? Engineering and VDOT have approved the Road Plan.
Who or what else needs to provide approval of these plans that hasn't done so since the submission on Tuesday,
February 26`" (i.e. two weeks ago)?
