Ray, Jr. Managing Member Parkside I, LLC RE: Greenbrier Station Mr. Ray, I have reviewed the county files in response to your bond inspection request. Unfortunately, the county does not seem to have records of as -built documents or construction inspections for Greenbrier Station. We did just complete a review of the drainage system with Parham Construction after their recent work, and this is satisfactory. An as -built plan for the road is required, as well as copies of recorded plats to ensure the easements are in place and improvements are built within platted easements. Materials and application tests are required for the road. Typically these would be compaction tests, CBR tests, base stone depth inspections, and asphalt inspections and materials reports. Without these tests, cores are typically taken to verify correct stone and pavement application. If depths of stone and asphalt come up short, an overlay may be needed. Please provide these items so that this bond can be released. For references on required items and procedures for as -built plans and private roads, see the county website documents located at hlt2://www.albemarle.oriz/deptforms.asp?department=cdengMTo. Sincerely, - l i Glenn Brooks, P.E. County Engineer
